Description

A stunning piece of fashion history. This 1940’s era opera cape is a mixture of faux & real fur. Made by superior furriers to the Queen from Edinburgh, Russ & Winkler, established in 1884. Unfortunately I have been unable to determine what furs this cape is made up from, but the quality & condition is outstanding. The highlights being the original diamante clasp (one stone missing), the stunning bright red interior & the contrasting white mink like trim. The cape also features the square type shape of the shoulders quite iconic during this period. Free size, to fit most.
