Description
So pretty in pink is this original 1950’s 2-piece dress with matching bolero jacket. It is made from 100% cotton.
This outfit is simply adorable & getting so hard to find now. So many wonderful little details. It has a built paper petticoat from top to bottom creating wonderful structure. A bonus is that the paper is still in perfect condition & has not deteriorated at all which often happens with these gowns.
Overall the condition is very good for the age, however there are a couple of small flaws: slight discoloration under the arms, which may be fixed with careful spot soaking. There is also a small spot on the back of the skirt. (See pictures – the garment has been priced accordingly.)
This set is perfect for pinup parades. Team it with pretty white sheer gloves & a dandy hat & you’re good to go! Best fit is a modern Australian size 6.
