Such a stunning example of a semi-formal hostess gown from the early to mid 1970’s. The label is Casa Vanessa which is a derivative of the high-end Melbourne label “Van Roth”. The Casa label was added in 1974.
The soft flowing pleats tumble to the floor like a princess dress. It has a matching plaited sash belt & the attention in the detail is beyond. This includes frilled cuffed sleeves topped off with little bows.
I must say this is one of the prettiest & best quality 1970’s maxi ‘s I have come across.
The dress is in excellent condition & will best fit a modern Australian size 14.
