Stunning early 60’s pure wool suit in a beautiful teal sea green colour.
I am assuming this suit was a custom made job as the jacket will fit up to a modern Australian size 12, yet the skirt fits more like a size 8. (See pictures for sizing label.) I am thinking a large busted petite woman must have required custom clothing! I can not locate a makers mark, but it does have pure wool care labels.
The jacket features unusual off-centre fastening & a rosette fur trim & pockets.
The matching skirt sits just below the knee in a pencil style.
The entire suit is lined & the quality is fantastic.
The only flaws are in the jacket lining with some marks & small holes. These are not visible to the wearer, but it has been priced accordingly.
This ensemble would make a beautiful mother of the bride / groom outfit that is totally unique.
