More late 80’s early 90’s fashion dreams from one of my favorite designers, Teena Varigos.
This label always has amazing quality with crazy design elements that are simply gorgeous. From a magazine article on Teena from the 80’s she is quoted as saying:
She designs with “waist & hip definition with emphasis on the sleeve, low backs and decolletage.” This light gold or champagne coloured formal cocktail dress ticks many of those boxes with enormous shoulder pads. It has beautiful rouching topped off with the iconic 80’s big bow on the hip. The skirt falls like a tulip.
The dress is in like new condition and best worn to the work Christmas dinner at the Hilton hotel ballroom with matching shoes & clutch (if you can find em!) Best fit is a modern Australian size 8 to 10.
